History in the Making, solo show of Míla Judge-Fürstová at Berkeley Castle.

Míla Judge-Fürstová and number nine will be holding a special event at Berkeley Castle in July 2008.

This is an incredible castle from the Norman times, still lived in by the family with history from as far back as history books go, with Edward II imprisoned and killed there, Vivaldi played piano there, Shakespeare wrote mid summer nights comedy for a Berkeley Wedding there, it is a great step for the future aristocracy, Fürstová is royalty in itself, so the show will be called ‘History in the Making’, considering there is an Albert Durer original oil hanging off the kitchen area, 15 pieces of Míla in the great hall should be a fantastic opportunity to see the old with the new.

The show will run from Saturday 19th July 2008 until Wednesday 23rd July. Míla will be present over the weekend and drinks will be served from 3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday - for invites please contact the gallery here.
